"Scott’s help and advice saved us an additional $7,400 in grant money (free money!) over the past two years.  And we still have one more year for each of them to reap savings from his sound planning!!!”

What if everything you thought you knew about selecting and paying for college is wrong?

Over the past nine years of working with parents, students, guidance counselors, colleges, bankers, teachers, pastors… pretty much everyone involved in the process – I’ve accumulated a fair amount of knowledge about just how the college selection and funding game works.  It’s really not a mystery.  It’s just that so much bad information has been circulating for so long; people are now taking it for gospel.

I really do have the best job in the world.  Can I share a quick story with you?

In my third or fourth year of College Financial Strategies (that’s my other company)… I was working with a family in a small town in Iowa not too far from where I live.  The daughter was a senior in high school and wanted to study landscape architecture at Iowa State University.  Her green thumb surrounded the farm house in which they lived.  The father was a farmer and mom was an elementary school teacher.  The younger daughter still had a couple years left of high school, but she was already set on going into forensic science.

I gathered up the information that I needed from them, and we scheduled a meeting in the next two weeks.  I went back to my office and began putting my plan together of how to save them enough money so Mom and Dad could send their girls to college with what they had already saved.

When I met with Mom and Dad two weeks later, I laid out my plan.  Towards the end of my presentation, I could see tears coming in their eyes.  I asked if there was something wrong or if I should continue.

Mom spoke up… “No we’ll be fine, but you see there’s something we didn’t tell you last time when we met with the girls.  We haven’t told them yet, but two months ago, their father was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.  The crops in the ground are likely the last crops we’ll ever plant.  We had no idea how we were going to pay for the girls’ college.  What you have shown us is a miracle.”

You see… I really do have the best job in the world.

Now Real College Savings is here to show you how to do the same.
